White Supremacy is: The Parole Board has no African American people among 240 members. They sit in judgment over African Americans convicted of STATUTORY violations. Meanwhile, white men commit 90% of all violent crimes in the United States. This is the definition of racism

Parole Board has no black people among 240 members

The body responsible for deciding whether prisoners can be released into the community has no black members, it has been revealed. Caroline Corby, the chair of the Parole Board, has said she fears unconscious bias could be behind the absence of black members and the low number of minority ethnic people.

“This article originally appeared on The Guardian”. But where is this Parole Board located? Since it’s “The Guardian” and there are references to “the high court”, are they referring to the UK? Not to be obtuse, but one can’t assume anything these days. 🙂

    Sami Tabla Sounds like Britian.
    Who is Caroline Corby?
The second woman to chair the Parole Board in its 50 years has had a varied and unusual career.

After obtaining a maths and statistics degree, she spent 13 years working in the City of London, specialising in private equity, before leaving to look after her three young daughters. She began writing, and had six novels for children published on historical figures including Cleopatra, Boudica and William the Conqueror.

Mrs Corby has also served as a magistrate and in 2007 joined the Board of London Probation Trust. She became a member of the Parole Board’s management committee three years ago, took over on a temporary basis in April and was confirmed in her post in November, on a three-year contract.

Thanks Doug Senko. I figured that but still had to wonder. 😉

My British mate of Jamaican heritage has been called “African American” so often that it’s completely ridiculous, and frequently something we take the piss out of people with

I was going to say, I didn’t make any such claims about where this was, but I do see JAPerkins did indeed make that assumption. However the article is talking about a British parole authority.

And of course there would be no such case of an all white (or non-black) parole board anywhere in the US, eh?

I will add a clarifying note though.
