Lyft will donate $1M to ACLU after Trump immigration ban

    Uber is reported to have scabbed the JFK taxi drivers who boycotted for an hour in support of the protest. Uber was also reported to be trying to help stranded travelers. Nevertheless there was a #deleteuber  hashtag going on for a bit there.

    I’ve never been able to use Uber properly anyway (I don’t think it likes my data-only phone w/ no voice calling).

    I briefly drove for Uber. I won’t use Uber because of the way I was treated.

    To underscore this point, Uber drivers have filed class action lawsuits against the company in at least a half dozen states. I haven’t heard of any drivers suing Lyft.
