This is the kind of crap you get to deal with on some tty’s… not maintained? Noisy lines? Not sure:

possible to end the old service at current place at end of month but start new account at new place on the 15th for an overlap of two weeks? ga Response: YES WEBARRANGE THT YOU WANT TO STOP YOUR SEV ON THE 30TH? GA You: ### XXX Ave. service stop on June 30th yes ga Response: THANK YOU MAY I HAVE THE ADDRESS YOU ARE MOVING TO? GA You: ### YY AVENUE ga

It kept dropping the first letter of the new street — YY instead of YYY, as well as all that garbling above. AAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH

(I think the “GA” means go ahead, it gets added to the end of my stuff and hers.)

So note well when I say that just because a company gives out a TTY number, doesn’t mean that they are properly accessible.

    Ah yes, a remnant of the old TTY days. And did they sign off with sk?

      I’m actually not sure. The call was ultimately dropped and I couldn’t reconnect. Finally called back in (voice with captel) and determined that despite all that, whoever was on the other end of the line put my request through (!).

    o0 ! I wonder if someone was typing on the wrong line….it almost looks that way. Weird.
